Why 2 color not supported: ribbon sucks. You dont use the full life of your two colors. E.g. youll get to the end with black part but have lots of red still left over, unused, and now useless.Whereas the SP200 prints at a maximum of x lines per second, the SP500 can achieve speeds of 8 and 9 lines per second almosat reaching speeds of inkjet printers.

Inkjet paper is usually recycled for purposes of ink quality. Otherwise, because of non-porous characteristic, normal paper graphic quality is not so good.

If SP200 customer looking to switch over to faster printer/looking for thermal solution, TSP600 is it. SP200 text only, tsp6 can handle any job designed for the sp200. If customer looking to add special feature to software but do cannot hire a programmer to re-code their software, Star provides the necessary tools to use these features available in the TSP600 but never used in SP200. E.g. Macros, LogoStore. All without modifying your software.
