Discuss and Consider Approval (Jean Young)

• Job and Family Services: A Resolution to approve the Title IV-D Contract

with the Stark County Family Court to process Title IV-D cases. Effective July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019, and will not exceed Fifty Thousand

Seventeen Dollars and Seventy-One Cents ($50,017.71).



• Job and Family Services: A Resolution to approve the Title IV-D Contract with the Stark County Clerk of Courts for Court filings related to Title IV-D cases. Effective from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019, and will not

exceed One Hundred Twenty-Three Thousand Three Hundred Twelve

Dollars and Sixty Eight Cents ($123,312.68).



• Job and Family Services: Approve an agreement with Renee Brahler,

Stephanie L. Geitgey, Lindy Hamm, Renee Lewis, Sharon J. McCauley, and

Amanda Schranghamer to conduct Foster and Adoptive Home Studies and

Large Family Assessments. Effective 7/1/18-6/30/20 not to exceed $35,000.00

each.



• Job and Family Services: A Resolution to enter into an agreement with

Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio, Inc. for job

skills and employment enhancement services. Effective 7/1/18-9/30/18 not to

exceed $26,000.00



• Treasurer: A Resolution for Public Depositories, pursuant to ORC 135.181,

authorizing an amount up to $80,000,000.00 to be deposited with Westfield

vehicle to observe “Text to 911” Software on July 10, 2018 in Geauga County,

OH.

• One Job & Family Services employee seeking $181.70 to attend the

Department of Rehab & Corrections/Child Support Collaboration on July 10,

2018 in Columbus, OH.

• One Sanitary Engineer employee is seeking $170.00 to attend the monthly

Stark County Safety Council meetings for the next 12 months in Canton, OH.

• A Resolution adopting Amendments to the Stark County Erosion Sediment

Control Regulations.



Engineer (Rick Flory)

• A Resolution awarding the Stark County Engineer's Mogadore Avenue Bridge

Replacement Project Bridge No. LK-5-21 to Black Horse Construction, Inc.,

of Norton, Ohio.in the amount of $332,645.10.



• A Resolution awarding the Stark County Engineer's H-4-2018 Asphalt

Resurfacing Project to Northstar Asphalt, Inc. of North Canton, Ohio in the

amount of $2,038,026.85 includes the Base Bid and Alternates No. 1 and No.

2.



Sanitary Engineer (Rick Flory)

• A Resolution approving the P-569 Waltham Woods Interceptor Project –

Change Order No. 2 to H.M. Miller Construction Co.



Regional Planning (Rick Flory)

• A Resolution of acceptance and authorization of payment of retainage in full to

Liberta Construction, Inc. for the CDBG-Funded 13th Street SW ADA

Compliant Sidewalk Installation Project - Perry Twp.



• A Resolution approving the substitution of a new sidewalk performance bond

secured by funds for an existing sidewalk performance bond secured by a

mortgage deed for Chestnut Ridge Allotment and extending time for

completion.



• A Resolution accepting streets as public roads, releasing a performance bond

and accepting a maintenance bond for the Pinecrest Meadow No. 1 Allotment

in Plain Township. Blue Spruce Circle NW - 50 feet by 134.19 feet Carlton Street NW - 50 feet by 1,571.90 feet)

• A Resolution Appointing William G. Mittas to the Stark County Public

Defender Commission to complete the remainder of Frank L Beane’s term

expiring on February 8, 2022.



• A Resolution approving bid specifications, plans, estimates of cost, and

advertisement to bid for the Addition and Renovation for Stark County Dog

Warden. The architect's estimate of probable cost of construction is

$665,000.00.

• A Resolution approving a Memorandum of Understanding with the Statewide

Consortium of County Law Library Resource Boards and accept a one-time

total grant award in the amount of $667.00.

• A Resolution indicating that the Board of Commissioners is not requesting a

for the purpose of discussing pending litigation at 2:04 PM.

Executive Session and back into regular session at 2:24 PM
