Level 3 B parking location inside of Cosmo’s 5 story undercover vehicle parking structure is the chosen location for all Jockey Club cars. Level 3 B is the one level of the parking structure that the Jockey Club elevators are positioned to connect to your "home away from home". When Jockey Club homeowners park on the level 3B, you will delight in choosing one of the two Jockey Club centrally positioned on the north wall of the tower system designated and named elevators to the 1st floor or 2nd floor. Then move forward to either the main entrance hall or pool deck (pool doors are key card accessibility) location of the Jockey Club. These elevators will also access the Cosmopolitan’s Casino location as they each of them open on the south to the north and vice versa. As you may know the Cosmopolitan has invested approximately 8 million dollars into the Jockey Club to date. It commenced with replacing the Fire Protection System components. Despite the fact that we were code certified with fire safety, improvements were essential as a result of the nearby proximity of the new Cosmo. All common space and interiors of each suite was retrofitted with sprinklers, strobes and speakers for announcing potential issues. High tech emergency generators as well as supplemental water tanks have been put in and all fire exiting has been redirected to the north drive. The water softening system tanks have been moved from underground to two significant above ground installations. Demolition of space or room no longer made use of beneath our pool area deck has been executed. Both Ascot and Derby Tower entrances have been transferred from the south side to the north side of both properties that includes complementing marble and brass access doors. The Porte Cochere (principal entrance overhang drive up) was built with pure stone drive up, stone faced pillars, stained concrete sidewalks, and Valet presentation areas and bell storage area. Our waste chutes were equipped with 2 compactors enabling 4 dumpsters worth of waste to be allocated into one compartment. The gas meters and power boxes have already been moved to a more strategic place. The “team member only” behind-the-scenes movement space has been enhanced for better accessibility from building to building with linens and large cleaning devices. The computer functionality for the inner workings of the Jockey Club was transferred to the far west end of the Derby tower ground level. Cosmo has paid for the 24/7 Valet Parking services and the 2 years of overflow parking at the Planet Hollywood; however, Cosmo will cease paying for the Jockey Club Valet service upon the opening of the new resort. They have repaved the complete north drive with fresh blacktop. 75 daily pool passes have been provided for Jockey Club owners and guests to use on the main Bamboo pool and sun patio area of the Cosmo as well as the two Jockey Club tennis surfaces which were transferred to the Cosmo roof top. Right now there are completely new elements to discover in 2011.
