DESCRIPTION
This is the conference programme for the Startup Career Launchpad Conference on April 18-19th 2013 in London, that I organised for NACUE. Featuring 70+ speakers, a range of partners and press, and 350+ attendees over two conference days, it is the biggest event I have personally ever organised, and also the biggest event NACUE has ever been associated with in the five years since its founding.TRANSCRIPT

Welcome to what is now our second Startup
Career Launchpad.
Last year we hosted over 130 of you at
the Google Campus together with some
of London’s hottest startups. You learnt,
connected, built... some of you even found
employment. And that’s what the event was
really all about. Showing you what life in and around startups can be. In 2012
we exposed the skills, the knowledge and the life startups offer. In 2013, we’re
taking things up a notch.
Over the next two days we’ve laid on over 70 speakers - all of whom have,
or are, making their mark on the world. Whether you’re a student, graduate,
or someone looking for a new opportunity, there’s something here for you.
We’ve designed sessions that cover everything from the impact startups are
having on the music industry, right through to workshops on getting started in
a startup.
So, make it your own. Challenge the speakers, network, and step outside of
your comfort zone. After all, that’s what startups are all about, isn’t it?
I look forward to hearing your startup story.

PRINCIPLE PARTNERS
GOLD PARTNERS
As a charitable organisation, NACUE organises some of the UK’s biggest enterprise events.
The Startup Career Launchpad 2013 brings together the European Startup Community over two days in London. We have one goal, to connect the leading figures in entrepreneurship, investment and startups with some of the world’s brightest students and graduates.
Since 2012, we’ve brought influential change makers from across the European Startup community to speak in London.
At Google Campus last year, we welcomed some of the most exciting names in enterprise, with attendance from VC giant ACCEL Partners; Seatwave Founder, Joe Cohen; and the likes of DueDil, GoCardless & Smarkets.
This year over 350 guests, 70 speakers and leading journalists will join us from all over the world for an awesome conference.
Day one brings together the biggest names in tech and enterprise to tackle the global startup agenda.
We’ve got panels covering everything from the impact startups are having on the music industry, right through to the future of code education. On day two, things turn practical - with workshops and talks on the skills, knowledge and insight needed to succeed in the world of startups.
The next two days will give you the chance to meet some of the world’s most innovative companies, the talent behind them, plus the investors and backers that support them.
We encourage you to make some great connections, and leave energised for your own startup journey.
