Key Points of Action Plan Universalize first hour breastfeeding,
exclusive breastfeeding up to 6 months, continuing breastfeeding upto two years with semi solid nutrition after 6 months.
Involvement of different Departments- Health, Panchayat, Rural Development, Dairy, Information, ICDS etc.
Core Committee at State level, Headed by Principal Secretary Forest & Rural Development Commissioner

on IYCF.
Anganwadi / Mini Workers, ANM & ASHA to be trained as Breastfeeding Counselors.
