One district’s response
District X would consider a 1:1 program that provides students with District purchased technology, however, continued GSA proration has significantly impacted our days of cash on hand to less than 70 days despite RIF and program cuts since FY12. Furthermore, the capacity of our elementary and jr. high students to use BYOD from home, responsibly, and without disrupting instruction, is a question mark for students, in our opinion.
