Chairman's Message
Sanjay Bansal Chairman
Shri KrishanEducational Trust
(Sanjay Bansal)
As Chairman of Shri Krishan Educational Trust running Shri Krishan Institute & Engineering and Technology (SKIET) and Shri Krishan Polytechnic (SKP), I extend a hearty welcome to our students and their parents for joining the Shri Krishan Education Trust Family. SKIET and SKP have established a name for themselves. SKIET is serving the engineering education needs of the students of Haryana since 1997 and SKP is imparting quality Engineering Diploma Education since 2005. I have taken the Chairmanship of the trust in Oct. 2010 with a new management team.
Within a short span, we have been able to create quality infrastructure and an excellent academic environment. Students facilities have grown manifold.
One of the most important concern in the minds of new entrants, when they join a course, is employment avenues and placement potential of the course. Right from its inception, we have been conscious of our obligations towards placement of the students, and to prepare them for complex professional roles in a changing society, having advance knowledge through state of art education and practical approach.
Our aim is to train the students, who should be armed with the ability to work effectively and efficiently, across professional boundaries, so that they can emerge as leaders and innovators in their chosen professions. With this goal in view, the institute has been updating and modernizing its curricula to make the courses more industry- oriented. Simultaneously innovative teaching methods and aids have also been introduced, to improve the quality of education imparted.
I am confident that our students will prove themselves as great asset to any organization they join and prove worthy of having been associated with this Institute.
I call upon all students of Engineering, Management and Diploma to take their studies with all seriousness. Just a few years of your hard work will ensure a better and rewarding future and an enviable position in the society for you. Come, let us join hands together to shape a bright & respectable future which would be mutually rewarding.
Once again, my best wishes to the students of SKIET and SKP.

Civil Engineering is a Professional Engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works such as bridges, roads, canals, dams and buildings. Civil Engineering is the oldest Engg. discipline after Military Engg. It is traditionally broken it into different discipline including Env. Engg. , Structural Engg. , Transportation Engg. , Water Resource Engg. , Geotechnical Engg., Material Engg. , Survey Engg and Construction Engg. . Civil Engg. takes places on all levels in the public sector and private sector.

The MBA qualification broadens and enhances knowledge and should be viewed in a sense of building up skills. Although the most popular reasons for undertaking the MBA is to increase salary, other reasons include widening career opportunities, furthering one's career and/or to extend personal networks.
There are other equally important reasons that any prospective MBA student will state, but by far the most compelling is to create career opportunities for oneself. The challenges imposed by the 21st century have made it an essential component that we upgrade skills and qualifications in order to meet the demands set by companies, customers and the environment we operate within.
This is where the MBA becomes a tool to be utilised in building up existing competencies - the theory learned can be utilised to find plausible solutions to concurrent business issues. At the end of an MBA programme, one emerges with an upper level of functional managerial and business issues as well as new conceptual skills ready to meet the demands that are set by the competitiveness around us.
The Department has an exemplary schedule for Seminars, Presentations, Group Discussions, Personality Development Programmes and all other pragmatic plans to accelerate the desired competence of the aspirants.
This department is being headed by Prof. Vikas Mishra.
