Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing this letter to express my interest in obtaining an internship in the field of Robotics.As an intern I am ready and willing to take up the responsibilities and work ethic required to effectively achieve the quality and Intelligence demanded by the company or institution. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I have demonstrated my drive for excellence in problem-solving and result-oriented success, which I believe is necessary at your University. Through University of Texas at Arlington’s rigorous Masters program I have sharpened my skills and developed a sense of understanding for fast-paced and sometimes difficult situations which will help me work to my full potential at any related Instituition.

Through my years of study, I have developed an interest in engineering and technology. I have taken courses in mechanical engineering like ROBOTICS, Finite Element Methods , Heat Transfer , Fuel Cells, product design and development, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, and management courses through my undergraduate and graduate studies. Through this, I have gained extensive knowledge in the field through theoretical and practical applications. In consideration of the shift in focus for the implementation of Computer Aided Design and Machining, I have taken courses in Computer Aided Manufacturing and Manufacturing Technology to improve my skills in design and product development. Through the above Courses I have extended my knowledge to Engineering Softwares like Matlab , SolidWorks , Ansys, Abaqus etc . I have majored in mechanical engineering during my undergraduate studies and currently pursuing my master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and have decided to specialize in Robotics . My interest in Robotics especially in Human Robot Interaction have further driven my passion for technology and innovation and I have started Learning Robotics Softwares like Labview,Arduino and Slic3r. Further, in order to broaden the skills I can offer, I also have a work experience in Total Quality Management, which I believe makes me multi-dimensional and capable to contributing more to your Institute as an individual and a team member. As part of my undergraduate course, I along with a team of students worked on designing and developing an Icing Wind Tunnel to simulate a wide variety of icing environment encountered by the Aircrafts under actual operating conditions of wind speed, liquid water content , droplet size and extremely low temperature conditions. I have also been able to develop my skills in product design and analysis in projects and internships that were designed to prepare me for the real world and challenging situations which I am prepared to face.
