1. Limited supply of dopamine
2. Things that trigger the release of dopamine rarely last
3. Some individuals feel guilty about too much pleasure…We think our way out of this state
Body Language-Laughing, hands in a particular location, inhaling deep (nervousness) and exhaling (relieve of tension during a presentation)
Food and Celebration…
The following foods supply raw
materials for dopamine:
•Tuna•Soybeans•Molasses•Red Meat•Chicken•Cheese•Yogurt
When selecting music for the classroom, consider the following:
• Tempo• Major Keys• Simple Harmony• Melody• Notes• Dynamics• Rhythm

Students Enjoy Celebrating Their Successes!!!
Closing Activity…“Car Wash”
• Participants will stand and face each other in four long lines
• When the signal is given, the two participants at the same ends of each line will start walking side by side down the center of the four lines (our version of a “car wash”).
• As the participants walk down the line, the individuals standing in line will call out their names and yell out praise phrases to “wash” and “bathe” them with cheers and applause.
• This process will continue until all participants have walked down the cheering gallery.
• Once completed, you should be washed clean of negativity…
