The location and the history of the Aynho train station is undoubtedly what first attracted locomotive enthusiasts Peta & Nick towards this wonderful home 23 years ago.

A spacious and private family home, the property once belonged to the old station master of Aynho. Steeped in history, Peta comments, “there are unique features to the property, including a working well and pump.”

The property is ideally situated for all of Deddington’s amenities, only a short two-mile drive away, whilst still maintaining its own private haven. “We love the seclusion and the space, there are fantastic views of the surrounding countryside, lots of lovely open green spaces.”

Station House is spacious and versatile, offering three large reception rooms and four double bedrooms. With an abundance of living space, the property is the perfect entertaining home. “The large patio area overlooking the garden, and the pond with easy access for catering from the kitchen is truly fantastic when we have summer BBQs.”

This flexible home is perfect for commuters or for working from home, with the Capital being only one hour away by train. Historic Stratford Upon Avon, Banbury, The Cotswolds, Milton Keynes and Oxford are all also within a short drive away.
