KATA PENGANTARPenerbitan Buku Statistik Perkembangan Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) Tahun 2009/2010 ini merupakan kelengkapan dari Laporan Tahunan Rektor Tahun 2009 dan laporan lainnya yang sejenis. Buku ini menyajikan data perkembangan sejak tahun 2005/2006 sampai dengan tahun 2009/2010 (data bulan Desember 2009) yang disajikan dalam bentuk grafik/gambar dan tabel. Penerbitan ketujuh belas ini merupakan sajian yang kesembilan dalam dua bahasa yaitu bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris. Diharapkan berbagai data yang disajikan dapat dijadikan sebagai informasi bagi sivitas akademika maupun masyarakat luas dan masukan untuk bahan pertimbangan penetapan kebijakan, pengambilan keputusan dan langkahlangkah lain untuk perencanaan baik jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang serta evaluasi program bagi pimpinan serta berbagai pihak yang berkepentingan. PREFACEThe publication of the 2009/2010 Book of Statistical Development of State University of Malang is a supplement to the Rector's 2009 Annual Report and other similar reports. This book presents development data from the year 2005/2006 to the year 2009/2010 (data from December 2009) in the form of graphs/figures and tables. This 17th publication is the bilingual edition: Indonesian and English. It is hoped that the various data presented here will be of use as a source of information for both the 'civitas academica' and the public, and as input for consideration in policy and decision making as well as for other measures in short-term and long-term planning. The data might also be of use for program evaluations by the officers of administration as well as other concerned parties. We are deeply indebted to all those who have assisted in preparing and organizing this 2009/2010 Statistical Development of State University of Malang. KESIMPULAN UMUMMAHASISWA Jumlah mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Malang pada tahun 2009/2010 22.112 orang, naik 37,89% jika dibandingkan dengan tahun 2005/2006, 16.036 orang. Perkembangan tiap tahunnya dengan sebaran sebagai berikut: tahun 2006/2007 naik 6,55%, 2007/2008 naik 13,24%, 2008/2009 naik 6,21%, dan 2009/2010 naik 7,60%. Penerimaan mahasiswa baru dalam lima tahun terakhir ini rata-rata setiap tahunnya naik 16,54% dan daya tampung naik 8,85%. Adapun perkembangan penerimaan mahasiswa baru adalah sebagai berikut: tahun 2006/2007 naik 5,65%, tahun 2007/2008 naik 20,43%, 2008/2009 turun 15,06%, dan 2009/2010 naik 8,47%. Lulusan Universitas Negeri Malang pada tahun 2008/2009, 3.963 orang, naik 10,42% bila dibandingkan dengan tahun 2005/2006 Adapun perkembangan lulusan adalah sebagai berikut: tahun 2005/2006 naik 13,68%, tahun 2006/2007 turun 2,51%, 2007/2008 naik 6,12%, dan 2008/2009 naik 6,73%. Sedangkan produktivitas rata-rata per tahunnya sebesar 19,11%, dengan rincian sebagai berikut: tahun 2005/2006 sebesar 22,38%, tahun 2006/2007 sebesar 18,08%, 2007/2008 sebesar 18,07%, dan tahun 2008/2009 sebesar 17,92%. DOSEN Jumlah dosen sampai dengan bulan Desember 2009, 942 orang, naik 1,07% dari tahun 2005/2006, dengan sebaran sebagai berikut: tahun 2006/2007 naik 2,90%, tahun 2007/2008 turun 2,50%, tahun 2008/2009 turun 0,21%, dan tahun 2009/2010 naik 0,96%. Dosen yang mencapai gelar Master/ Magister dan Doktor mengalami kenaikan 14,56% dari tahun 2005/2006. Rinciannya adalah: tahun 2006/2007 naik 3,20%, tahun 2007/2008 naik 0,56%, tahun 2008/2009

naik 4,07%, dan tahun 2009/2010 naik 6,06%. Rata-rata per tahunnya naik 3,69%. Bila dibandingkan dengan jumlah dosen secara keseluruhan, dosen yang mencapai gelar Master/Magister dan Doktor pada tahun 2009 mencapai 83,55% (meningkat 4,04% dibanding tahun yang lalu). Di samping itu, pada tahun 2009/2010 ini dosen yang sedang studi program Master/Magister dan Doktor mencapai 23,78%. Seiring dengan kenaikan jumlah dan pencapaian gelar Master/Magister dan Doktor, terdapat kenaikan jumlah dosen golongan IV sebesar 19,90%, sebaliknya untuk golongan III turun 11,15% dari tahun 2005/2006. Sampai dengan tahun 2009/2010 jumlah dosen golongan III (50,74%) dengan dosen golongan IV (49,26%). Sedangkan dosen yang bergelar Profesor pada tahun 2009/2010 naik 84,38% dibanding pada tahun 2005/2006. PELAKSANA ADMINISTRASI Jumlah pelaksana administrasi sampai dengan bulan Desember 2009, 757 orang, naik 24,92% dari tahun 2005/2006, dengan sebaran sebagai berikut: pada tahun 2006/2007 turun 0,17%, tahun 2007/2008 turun 2,48%, 2008/2009 naik 2,54%, dan 2009/2010 naik 9,55%. Dilihat dari tingkat pendidikannya, selama kurun waktu lima tahun terakhir terdapat kecenderungan peningkatan jumlah pelaksana administrasi ke jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi. Jika dibandingkan dengan tahun 2008/2009 untuk yang berpendidikan SD naik 117,39%; SMTP naik 68,00%; SMTA naik 32,54%; Sarjana Muda turun 1,54%; dan Sarjana, naik 0,00%. Sedangkan untuk yang berpendidikan Magister/Master naik 90,91%, dan Doktor naik 200%. Selain itu setiap tahunnya rata-rata 47,82% pelaksana administrasi mengikuti berbagai program pendidikan tambahan berupa seminar, lokakarya, kursus, dan program peningkatan kemampuan sejenis lainnya.xvi

ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF The number of administrative staff up to December 2009, 757 people, increased by 24,92% from 2005/2006, with the distribution as follows:in 2006/2007 decreased by 0.17%, in 2007/2008 decreased by 2.48, in 2008/2009 increased by 2.54%, and in 2009/2010 increased by 9,55%. In terms of educational level, the past five years have seen the tendency of increase of administrative staff to a higher level compared to 2008/2009, graduates of El.Sch. increased by 117,39%; Junior Secondary School (SLTP) increased by 68,00%; Senior Secondary School (SMTA) increased by 32,54%; Bachelors decreased by 1,54%; and full degrees increased by 0,00%,. Staff with Master/Magister increased by 90,91%, remained and Doctoral degrees increased by 200%. In addition, every year on average 47,82% administrative staff joins varions extra training programs such as seminars, workshops, courses, and other up-grading programs.

Peningkatan jumlah pelaksana administrasi ke jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi ini sejalan dengan peningkatan golongan kepangkatan. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada perkembangan golongan kepangkatan bila dibandingkan tahun 2005/2006 adalah sebagai berikut: golongan I naik 1300,00%, golongan II naik 29,96%, golongan III naik 7,08%, dan golongan IV naik 15,38%. Secara kuantitatif perbandingan jumlah pelaksana administrasi pada tahun 2009/2010 yang berpendidikan SD 6,61%; SMTP 5,55%; SMTA 51,65%; Sarjana Muda 8,45%; Sarjana 24,70%; Magister/Master 2,77%, dan Doktor 0,26%. Jumlah tenaga teknisi/laboran tetap sampai dengan bulan Desember 2009 sebanyak 71 orang (naik 9,23% dari tahun 2005/2006), dengan sebaran sebagai berikut: tahun 2006/2007 naik 18,46%, tahun 2007/2008 turun 33,77%, 2008/2009 naik 11,76%, dan 2009/2010 naik 4,41%. PENELITIAN Jumlah judul penelitian sampai dengan tahun 2009 sebanyak 253, naik 64,29% dari tahun 2005/2006, sedangkan peran serta dosen naik 80,15%. Pada tahun 2009 jumlah judul penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan sebanyak 253 judul melibatkan 735 dosen. Dibandingkan dengan jumlah dosen pada saat ini, rasio judul dengan dosen mencapai 1:3,72 dan rasio peran serta dosen dengan jumlah dosen mencapai 1:1,28. Dosen yang telah mengikuti penataran tenaga peneliti tingkat dasar selama lima tahun terakhir sebanyak 0 orang. Lokakarya penelitian tingkat lanjut kuantitatif sebanyak 0 orang. Selain itu juga telah dilaksanakan usaha peningkatan lainnya seperti lokakarya/workshop program payung penelitian, lokakarya dosen pembina matakuliah metodologi penelitian, seminar ilmiah penelitian, workshop pembuatan usulan IPTEK/pembangunan, seminar hasil

PENGABDIAN KEPADA MASYARAKAT Jumlah judul pengabdian kepada masyarakat pada tahun 2009, naik 13,58% dari tahun 2005/2006, sedangkan peran serta dosen naik 26,03%. Pada tahun 2009 telah dilaksanakan 92 judul melibatkan 368 dosen. Jika dibandingkan dengan jumlah dosen yang ada saat ini, rasio judul dengan dosen mencapai 1:10,24, dan rasio peran serta dosen dengan jumlah dosen mencapai 1:2,56. Jumlah mahasiswa KKN dari tahun 2005/2006 hingga tahun 2009, cenderung naik. Pada tahun 2006 naik 37,46%, tahun 2007 turun 1,83%, tahun 2008 naik 13,60%, dan tahun 2009 naik naik 16,21%. Jumlah Dosen Pembimbing Lapangan (DPL), naik 24,32% pada tahun 2006, turun 40,22% pada tahun 2007, naik 92,73% pada tahun 2008, dan pada tahun 2009 naik 18,09%. PERPUSTAKAAN Koleksi bahan pustaka sampai dengan tahun 2009/2010, naik 20,46% untuk jumlah judul dan naik 10,63% untuk jumlah eksemplar dibandingkan tahun 2005/2006. Menurut jenisnya pada tahun 2009/2010, koleksi yang paling banyak, berturut-turut adalah bahan pustaka berbahasa nasional (59,26%/judul, 54,26%/eksemplar), berbahasa inggris (38,98%/judul, 44,11%/eksemplar), dan berbahasa asing (1,76%/judul, 1,62%/ eksemplar). Sedangkan anggota perpustakaan sebanyak 35.099 orang, naik 103,46% dari tahun 2005/2006. Pengunjung perpustakaan sebanyak 116.301 orang, turun 80,37% dari tahun 2005/2006.

In terms of the kinds of library materials in 2009/2010, the order of numbers is as follows: in Indonesia language (59.26% titles, 54.26% items), English (38,98% titles 44.11% items), foreign language (1,76% titles, 1.62% items). Library members numbered 35,099 people, an increase of 103.46% from 2005/2006. Visitors to the library numbered 116.301 people, and decreased of 80,37% from 2005/2006.

PROGRAM PENGALAMAN LAPANGAN Mahasiswa peserta PPL tahun 2009/2010, naik 19,35% dari tahun 2005/2006, Guru Pamong naik 18,93% Dosen Pembimbing naik 61,85%, dan Sekolah Latihan naik 27,54%. SARANA DAN PRASARANA Hasil pembangunan fisik, sampai dengan tahun 2008 adalah: a. Prasarana pendidikan bersama, yang terdiri dari gedung perpustakaan, gedung kuliah bersama, gedung seminar, kebun percobaan, dan rumah kaca, terealisasi 42,12%; masing-masing gedung perpustakaan (95,64%), dan gedung seminar (100%). Sisanya belum ada yang terealisasi. b. Prasarana kelembagaan, yang terdiri dari Lembaga Penelitian, Lembaga Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, LP3, prasarana kemahasiswaan, dan prasarana kesejahteraan mahasiswa belum ada yang terealisasi. c. Prasarana umum, yang terdiri dari pengembangan kantor pusat, terealisasi 51,56%; prasarana hunian, terealisasi 64,25%; prasarana umum, terealisasi 26,79%; prasarana olah raga sudah terealisasi 29,66% dan prasarana pendukung terealisasi 30,36%. d. Prasarana fakultas dan Program Pascasarjana, yang terdiri atas ruang administrasi, ruang kuliah, dan laboratorium yang sudah direalisasi masing-masing adalah: FIP (98,98%), FS (40%), FMIPA (100%), FE (40%), FT (126,77%), dan PPS (75%).

FACILITIES AND INFRASTRUCTURES The completion of physical development up to the year 2008 is as follows: a. Common Educational Facilities, Consisting of Library, Common Lecture Rooms, Seminar hall, Experimentation Garden, and Green House was Completed 42.12% = Library 95.64%, and the Seminar Hall 100%. The rest has not been realized. b. Infrastructure for center facilities, consisting of Research Center, Community Service Center, LP3, Student Centers and Student Welfare Centers have not been realized. c. Common facilities consisting of the development of the main office building (realized 51.56%); housing facilities (realized 64.25%); common facilities (realized 26.79%); sports facilities (realized 29.66%); and support facilities (realized 30.36%). d. Faculty and Graduate School facilities, consisting of administration room, lecture rooms, and laboratories have been realized as follows: FIP (98.98%); FS (40%); FMIPA (100%); FE (40%); FT (126.77%), and PPS (75%).
