Executive Summary  1.1 Project Overview

 The expansion and renovation project is segmented into three distinct construction phases on an existing occupied and active high school campus. Phase 1 involves construction of a new Math/Science Building, parking lots, and various site improvements. Phase 2 includes modernizations to several buildings located throughout the campus. Phase 3 includes demolition of five existing buildings, construction of a new Multipurpose Building, Performing Arts Building, and a Satellite Cafe, modernizations and restorations to several existing facilities and site development of a centralized quad area.  1.2 Summary of Progress (This Period)

 Phase I – Math/Science Building Math/Science building occupied and classes continue. Phase 2 – Buildings WW, Y, A1, A2, A3, A4, M1, M2, M3, N, & U Buildings occupied and flatwork completed; classes continue. Phase 3 – Site/Quad Areas, Building K, Building W, Building X Site/Quad Areas: Skate stops installation nearing completion, Exterior Punch List work nearing completion. Building K (Multi-Purpose Building): HVAC System Commissioning nearing completion, Interior Punch List work nearing completion. Building occupied. Building W: Interior & Exterior Punch List Work nearing completion. Building occupied. Building X: All activities completed. Building occupied. Food Service Building: All activities completed. Building occupied.

Building V (Cafeteria): All activities completed. Building occupied.

Building S: All activities completed. Building occupied. Fire Lane (Deferred Scope): Asphalt Paving in progress, Landscape & Irrigation nearing completion. Inclement Weather: None

Project Schedule  

 2.1 Overview

 The project began construction in November 2011 and is currently on schedule to finish in March 2015. Incorporation of hazardous materials abatement and campus moving ops activities into the master schedule extended overall project completion.  See the attached Project Schedule.
