Agile working demands change to teams, locations and styles of work. Move your desks as you see fit with ease and without compromise.

This mobile solution means desk configuration can change as teams change. And, thanks to its ‘plug and play’ simplicity, the team can move the desks for themselves.

Lockable, load-bearing castors with 360-degree rotation allow users to roll the desk to the location that suits. As your team and layout needs change, Staverton SMS will just roll with it. A simple click of the lock and the desk is secure and wobble-free leaving you to sit or stand.

ZD combines the minimal aesthetic with exceptional build quality at a highly competitive price.

A full collection of desks, benches and tables is offered with a light floating top that sits away from the structural frame. Cable management is simple and effective, concealing all vertical and horizontal cable paths from view.

ZD can be customised simply to provide an exact foot-print or shape, due to the use of a telescopic structural beam and the floating worksurface.

The Staverton ZD range holds the prestigious FIRA Gold Certification.

CL Benching

CL is our clever bench. Clean lines provide a solid platform for fully integrated power and data solutions to be accommodated within the bench’s structure.

CL removes the need for specialist electrical installation as all power issues are dealt with above the floor. A leg-mounted PDU delivers power for up to ten desks and a simple ‘plug in’ design, promotes easy installation and greater flexibility.

Sliding tops, vertical risers, and hinged containment trays allow service teams to maintain a safe yet accessible power distribution system.

CL is individually height settable, achieved through the use of stackable spacers. Concealed cabling creates a flawless finish.

The Staverton range of meeting tables is available in a wide variety of shapes, sizes and finishes and can be used to furnish breakout spaces and traditional meeting rooms. We also manufacture Sit Stand meeting tables and a multitude of breakout meeting ‘booths’.

“Our challenge was to find a bench solution that could offer integrated power and data, protect the design aesthetic in our new head office and create flexible working spaces. Staverton CL achieves this and surpasses everything else on the market. It was borne out of collaborative and clever thinking - Staverton really listened to our brief.”

The Co-operative Group’s new office at 1 Angel Square is a 14 storey iconic design and was the first to achieve the BREEAM outstanding accreditation, the highest achievable BREEAM rating.

The Co-operative Group required a bench desk that would manage all power requirements above floor level and reflect the open-plan design aesthetic.

Staverton designed CL, a bench which houses power distribution unit in the leg and saved the client more than £250,000 in electrical installation costs.

CL also offers inset-desk top power for easy plug and play, optional sliding top access to concealed cables and work surfaces that appear as if they’re floating.

From a furniture point of view BREEAM assessment relates to the materials that we use in our products and their recyclability and life process.

This is covered through:• ISO 14001:2004 Environmental

management systems.• FSC Chain of Custody

Certification.• FISP Furniture Industry

Sustainability Programme. All 3 of which are externally certified and audited for Staverton.

Staverton employs a Quality & Environmental administrator responsible for ensuring we meet all the criteria to maintain the necessary standards set out.

Case Study

“We wanted a bench solution that would support our team’s dynamic and collaborative working style and at the same time make ongoing IT and maintenance much easier by bringing all power above the floor.Staverton stood out because the design team really listened to what we were trying to achieve.”

Scale: 600 WorkstationsLocation: ManchesterTimeline: 8 WeeksFurniture: Staverton CL

Auto Trader’s move to a new Manchester head office and brought together five offices under one roof creating a clear need for furniture that would support collaborative working and the wide variety of technologies in use.

Staverton listened closely to Auto Trader’s specific needs and chose to modify an existing product, Staverton CL, to fit the brief. More than 600 desks have now been installed following a month long pilot in a one of Auto Trader’s former offices.

From the outset it was important that one standard desk could cater for three different types of setting - for PCs, laptops and hot-desking.

Concealed power and data resources within CL’s core structure keep power above the floor and make it easier to identify and solve maintenance problems.

Integrated desk-top power with USB charging allows laptops and phones to be plugged in with ease and has been designed to allow additional power units as needed.

All cabling is brought into the desk through one point and is ‘locked down’. This means employees can’t accidently mess with or kick-out cables. Cabling is also concealed in order to protect the aesthetic and support Auto Trader’s clear desk and unallocated desk policies.

Scale: 1,400 WorkstationsLocation: Coventry, West MidlandsTimeline: 14 WeeksFurniture: Staverton ZD

The Severn Trent Centre (STC) in Coventry is a purpose built 1400 workstation building in St John’s Street. Staverton had an ongoing relationship with Severn Trent Water as part of its overall framework agreement. However, it was decided that the firm should bid as part of a competitive process given the importance of STC. Staverton was able to secure the project thanks to an impressive proposal and a clear understanding of the client’s needs. This was a unique job given the needs of the STC. The project comprised an installation of dedicated workstations for the majority of staff, coupled with the provision to accommodate Severn Trent Water’s peripatetic staff within the main office areas. Working closely with the client, Staverton provided a furniture solution that helped support the accommodation of some 1700 employees at 1400 workstations.Staverton provided furniture, meeting room seating, storage tops, screens and other furniture elements for the

offices together with the furniture for a range of public spaces including meeting rooms, breakout spaces, collaborative space, internet benches as well as the installation of other items to compliment the final solution. The chosen furniture system was Staverton ZD benching which was selected for its space efficiency, looks and ability to adapt over time. Severn Trent Water were particularly impressed by the way Staverton was able to modify the products to meet a series of unique demands, not least in terms of cable management. Cat 6 cabling was used extensively throughout the building which meant that the furniture had to be customised in a way to accommodate the technological infrastructure chosen by the client. The elegant bespoke solution means that the servicing is now completely hidden under the workstations, but is flexible enough to be changed over time. The facilities team at Severn Trent Water were incredibly impressed with the way Staverton worked within the complex logistical framework needed to rationalise the company’s product portfolio and seamlessly move hundreds of people into the new building. Staverton managed the furniture installation and efficient staff transfer process.

Case Study

“Staverton have followed the brief to provide a solution to meet the exact needs of Acxiom and have provided a fantastic new working environment for our associates.”

Mark MercerHead Of Property & FacilitiesAcxiom

Scale: 220 WorkstationsLocation: Hatfields, LondonTimeline: 6 WeeksFurniture: Staverton ZD & Workwall

Acxiom are a leading company in multichannel marketing services and they took the decision to consolidate their two offices into one at Dominican Court in Hatfields. Acxiom have taken 30,000 sq ft of space over 4 floors. Staverton were appointed to supply and install all of the furniture and they specified 220 workstations.

Staverton needed to work closely with the client to deliver specific furniture solutions for the main open plan office space and the cellular offices. Across the main office, it was important to minimise furniture components in order to improve future flexibility and for the furniture to have a light and open feel. In the cellular offices, Staverton were required to create a bespoke desking solution to enable the office to be used as a meeting room when it is unoccupied. Staverton were also tasked with delivering a wire free environment below the work-surface.

Staverton specified the ZD range for all open plan desks, office desks and meeting room tables. A 1200mm module bench frame with an extendable beam was provided, thus minimising the components. Floating tops and screen panels were used to provide the light and open feel to the bench desks and integrated cable risers and horizontal double width cable trays were used to completely conceal the wiring.

Within the cellular offices, the Staverton ZD bench frame provided the structure for a combined desk and meeting table. The frame was inset from one end to allow seating to be used on all three sides of the table.

A single aluminium framed Staverton Workwall panel was used to provide third level storage for the offices and an acrylic light weight panel was fixed to the Workwall to hide computer cabling from the visitor’s side.
