We Must Affirm Our Faith! I Cor. 16:13 (NIV)
On the Move with Missions!“For the Lord gave us this command when He said, ‘I have
made you a light to the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the farthest corners of the earth.’” (Acts 13:47 NLT)
June is a special month for me. First, it is our Missions Month at BMBC. What an exciting time to tell the story of what God is doing through the Mission Ministry at BMBC here locally, as well as nationally and internationally! Our GPS to give us direction is Give, Pray, and Serve. Everyone can be involved because God has called everyone to Missions. During this month, you will hear testimonies as well as have the opportunities to participate with some hands-on projects right here on our campuses. We will also be praying specifically for missionaries and mission teams.
June is also my birth month. Yes, June 25 at 12:09am, I will be turning 7x7=49! (Please, don’t play those numbers in the lottery.) What do I want for my birthday? Thank You for asking! I would love for everyone to use June to give a sacrificial offering of $49 to Missions. Proverbs 19:17 reminds us of the blessings that God give to the generous giver who gives to the poor. Also, I ask that each of us would pray about and commit their best pledge to Missions. As we stretch our dollars to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the farthest corners of the earth, we need everyone’s participation.
Don’t be lost about your call to missions; use your GPS to give you direction!
