TheSheriff’sOfficehas implementedanon-line service called“CopLogic” forHarrisCountycitizens to report crimes.This is for reporting lostproperty, theftorvandalismONLYandwhenthecomplainthasNOsuspectinformation.Thisserviceisprovidedasanoptiontothecitizeninlieuofwaitingforaunittorespondtotheirlocation.

ExamplesofincidentsthatcanbereportedviaCopLogic:

1.LOSTPROPERTY:Whenpropertyismissingorlost,i.e.leavingitemsinarestaurantormissingfromhome.

2.THEFT:Propertyistakenwithouttheowner’spermission.3.VANDALISM:Theactofchanging,modifyingordefacingpublicorprivateproperty,

i.e.graffiti,knockingoveramailbox,throwingarockthroughawindow,etc.
