Learner EngagementHow do we engage the students in learning?

By having the students experience the world inside and outside of our classrooms.

Students learn more when they are exposed to the world outside of their homes and classrooms. They can see the real world connections to what they are learning.

9What will happen if I show my students the world? They will see the importance of learning the facts, concepts, and processes. They become active participants. They will start to make sense of their world by making connections. They will see how learning is applicable to their lives. They will experience the world first hand by seeing and doing.
