Step 3 – Reflect The third step, Reflect, provides the course convenor the opportunity to consider the grades which have been awarded before sending them through for approval. There are a number of questions in this step which must be answered in order to progress to Step 4.
Boundary alerts
Grade boundary alerts display at the top of the page. (Refer Figure 1.) This section may flag courses which have high numbers of students who have low marks, have failed or who have high marks.
This is information only. Convenors may choose to return to Step 2 to reassess the marking.

Grade distribution graphs
The first question asks the convenor to comment on the Grade Distribution of the course. Further detail regarding grade distribution is available.
Choose (Graph icon). (Refer Figure 2.)

Save the Grade Distribution graphs
Choose (Course Grade Report). (Refer Figure 4.)
Figure 4 Choose Course Grade Report to save a copy.
The report will take a few minutes to generate. It will open in a new browser window and provide the option to open or save. (Refer Figure 5.)
Note: If the save dialog box does not display, check that Browser pop-up windows are not blocked.

Add a comment
A comment must be added by the course convenor.
Choose (Add a comment). (Refer Figure 6.)

Enter the required text and choose (OK).
Attachments
Attachments are optional.

To add an attachment, choose (Add Attachment).
The file attachment window displays. (Refer Figure 8.)

Choose (Browse) and select the required file.
Choose (Upload).
Details of the attached file are listed on the page. (Refer Figure 9.)

Course moderation activities
The second question asks the convenor whether they have undertaken the planned consensus moderations activities. Those planned activities, nominated in the Course Profile, are highlighted at the bottom of the page - Section 7 (in yellow) as reference. (Refer Figure 10.)
