Stephen Bugno was a born traveler. After University, he decided to put his Russian language skills to the test by volunteering with the US Peace Corps in Uzbekistan. In the following years he continued to travel globally, stopping for stints as an English teacher in South Korea, Mongolia, Spain, and the West Bank. In 2011, he began to pursue  freelancing full-time. As a location independent digital nomad, he's traveled and worked from 85+ countries. His travel philosophy is simple: to witness cultures of the world other than his own, to find the unique characteristics of each place he visits, the most inspiring landscapes, and the friendliest people. His journeys have taken him by foot across the breadth of Spain, by railway across Siberia, on chicken buses in Nicaragua, old Soviet planes across Uzbekistan, share taxis in Syria, by boat across the English Channel, hitchhiking the length of Denmark, cycling around Nova Scotia, and by his own car throughout the U.S.A.
