This metathesis-derived, nonionic surfactant is an unsaturated, short chain amide resulting from Stepan’s collaboration with Elevance Renewable Sciences and furthers Stepan’s effort to deliver renewable, naturally-derived products to the market. With a Kauri-Butanol value greater than 1000, STEPOSOL® MET-10U provides superior cleaning performance while also being environmentally friendly due to a low vapor pressure, high boiling point, and Biorenewable Carbon Index (BCI) of 75%.     Oven Soil: Whole milk (50%), flour (12.5), lard (12.5%), whole egg powder

    (7.5%), Crisco soy oil (7.5%), tomato soup (5%), and sugar (5%).

    Applied 10.5 grams of oven soil to cover dish, baked at 200 C for 1 hour,

    recoated and repeated baking, cool. Sprayed 10 grams of cleaning

    product, soaked at room temperature for 2 hours, scrubbed 25 times with

    a damp sponge while using hard pressure.
