Powerful vacuum system Using a liquid ring vacuum pump, the sterilizer features deep and stable vacuum which gurantees excellent air removal in pre vacuum and excellent drying in post vacuum. The vacuum pump is mounted on anti vibrating frame to reduce noise with high safety protection. Water recovery system can be added as an option to reduce water consumption.

Construction, Design and Installation The materials used in the construction of the machine are top of the range with high quality stainless

steel AISI 316Ti (chrome-nickel-moiyb-denum-titanium) . The relative pressure gauge is 3,5 bar (148°C). Operational (fluid interception) valves are pneumatic for high reliability Chamber : manufactured in a single piece with electric polishing up to Ra less than 0.2 Micron (mirror fi nish electrolytic polishing treatment) and with a thickness of 6 mm. The temperature in the chamber is monitored by two temperature sensors (probes). The chamber pressure is monitored with pressure transducer.Jacket, distrbuted all over the surface, is manufactured with a thickness of 4 mm to guarantee high performance and high durability of the pressure vessel. The external panels and all components inside the hydraulic plant, piping and valves are manufactured using

stainless steel materials.Doors. Automatic Sliding doors for a safe & smooth door open/close using a electric system (stainless steel door thickness of 8 mm) and door blockage.Seal The seal is guaranteed by the dynamic movement of the gasket obtained through introduction of steam in the seat of the gasket.Validation All pre programmed cycles are validated as per EN285 standards. The customer can also run validation using defined validation ports for customer cycles as per UNI EN ISO 17665-1(it was EN 554).

Control system & user interfaceThe control and user interface is based on color touch screen. The touch screen has multipage control for the following functions:

Sterilization CyclesThe machine is provided with pre-programmed and programmable cycles including:

Instruments cycles, •Textile & Porous load cycle, • Rubber, plastic and heat sensitive material, • Prion cycle, •Flash cycle, •Bowie & dick test cycle• •

Any customized validated cyclecan be added, (up to 60 programmable cycles) by end user after verifi cation and validation.•Beside selecting the sterilization cycle from the touch screen;packing type can be selected for more appropriate functionality of the cycle from the following : Containers • Baskets • Paper • Bags

Printer & chart recorderThe built-in thermal printer for cycle documentation includes: date and time printing with hospital name, lot number and operator name, selected cycle, parameter values in diff erent cycle periods that can be programmed as per customer requirements, phase by phase display, total cycle time and cycle results if valid or invalid as well as printing some operators instructions. In case of any alarm during cycle operations, everything is registered and printed.A chart recorder Is optionally added for independent sensors with validation and comparison between printed andrecorded data

Maintenance The sterilizer is designed to enable front maintenance access through front hinged door with key lock.

PLC The cycle is monitored with two CIMAC microprocessor based systems (one for monitoring, one for safety and data registering). The PLC control system is equipped with digital and analogue input datas and output datas for monitoring and centralized supervision.
