Improved Sorting/Testing Specifications and refined Training Program for Recycle Staff to improve the sorting of scrap and re-grind material to the correct fluoropolymer type and grade.

Researched and wrote or refined over 195 MSDS’s, Product Specifications and Product Data Sheets for both recycled and color concentrate compounds.

Provided Root Cause Analysis on off-spec and returned materials to refine manufacturing process and determine disposition of material for reprocessing, redistribution, reclassification or disposal.

Determined test methods and analytical techniques to discover and verify grades of fluoropolymers using physical testing and statistical analysis of data.

Provided Technical Service support for Remee Wire and Cable, Berk-Tek, and other Wire&Cable customers.

The Dow Chemical Corp. (Formerly Union Carbide Corp.) Aug. 1989 – Jan. 2003 Somerset, NJ R&D Technician (1995 - 2003)

Conducted numerous electrical property tests that include Water Tree Growth Rate (WTGR), Dissipation Factor (DF), Dielectric Constant (DC), Double Needle Voltage Life (DNVL), and Volume Resistivity (VR).

Upgraded and maintained image analyzer for water tree growth measurements, and authored a detailed instruction/operations manual for use of Water Tree Growth Analysis System.

Provided product analysis that proves that the "two-step dried" UCAT G-300 catalyst is viable as commercial manufacturing process. This allowed LP-1 Catalyst Unit to increase its UCAT G-300 production capacity by 80%.

Conducted experimental work for Next Generation Insulation project, in particular, ambient-cure and moisture-cure cross-linked polyethylene modeling efforts to develop similar model for next generation materials.

Developed new computation programs for Q-meter calculation and DF/DC control measurements.
