Building rehab

For this project, i had to take an existing abandoned building in the local area and remodel it to be used as a library. I used an abandonded hardware store to create my library.

Vocational School

For this project, we had to design a vocational school for chicago’s china town. we went to chicago to visualize the site of our project which was set between two different rail lines (one longdistance train and one metro train).

Writer’s retreat

For this project, I had to design a writer’s cabin of about 200 square feet. I began with making three different spaces: one for writing, one for reading, and one for discussion. I put the three spaces together to complete the cabin. I also went into detail with creating all the components of the cabin, such as the framing, sheathing, drywall, and rain-screen.
