STI ‘04.5+ - THROTTLE BODY INSTALLATION MANUAL MATERIALS REQUIRED None 3 Remove the left side intercooler screw. 4 Remove the right side intercooler screw. Loosen the intercooler bracket screws. 5 Loosen up the throttle body connection clamp. Remove the MAP sensor. 6 Loosen up the intercooler supply clamp. 7 Disconnect the coolant lines and remove the throttle body. 8 Remove the coolant hose. 9 Loop the remaining coolant line back to the engine block. 10 Snap-on Throttle body - Remove the cover clips and remove the cover. Go to step 12. 11 Bolt-on Carefully drill thru the rivet heads with a 4mm drill and remove the cover. Throttle body - 12 Remove the spur gear and the servo motor. TOOLS REQUIRED M8 socket wrench M10 socket wrench M12 socket wrench Flat screw driver Phillips screw driver 2.5 mm Allen wrench 5 mm Allen wrench 6 mm Allen wrench 4 mm Dril bit 2 Remove the vacuum pipe and blow-off valve screws. 1 Disconnect the battery terminals.

INSTALLATION MANUAL

Remove the left side intercooler screw.

Remove the right side intercooler screw.Loosen the intercooler bracket screws.

Loosen up the throttle body connectionclamp. Remove the MAP sensor.

Loosen up the intercooler supply clamp.

Disconnect the coolant lines and removethe throttle body.

Remove the coolant hose.

Loop the remaining coolant line back tothe engine block.

Snap-on Throttle body - Remove thecover clips and remove the cover. Go tostep 12. 11

Bolt-on Carefully drill thruthe rivet heads with a 4mm drill andremove the cover.

Repeat this process 3 (three) more timesto allow the ECU memorize new TPSsettings.

Reinstall the servo motor and the spurgear. Install the throttle body cover.

Cut the gasket ID to match adaptor’s plateID.

Bolt the throttle body adaptor to the intakemanifold. Place the factory gasketbetween the adaptor and the manifold.

Reconnect the battery terminals.

Turn the ignition key to “ON” position.DO NOT START THE ENGINE.Wait for a minimum 20 seconds and turnthe ignition key to “OFF” position. Wait fora minimum 20 seconds.

Reinstall the air filter.

Install the intercooler mount to the leftintercooler bracket.

Bolt the throttle body to the manifold.Reconnect the air supply hose. Plug in thewire harness connector. 18

Prepare the intercooler mountinghardware.

Install the intercooler mount to the rightintercooler bracket.

Repeat this process 3 (three) more timesto allow the ECU memorize new TPSsettings.17

Install the intercooler. Tighten the inputand output hose clamps. Install the MAPsensor. 22

Bolt on the left intercooler mount.

Install the vacuum line and the blow-offvalve.
