Financial Exploitation Lisa R. Pinho Assistant District Attorney Lafourche Parish This workshop includes a description and examples of the crime of financial exploitation, including the penalties. The presentation demonstrates who may be at risk for financial exploitation and who may be an abuser. The workshop also discusses powers of attorney and offers tips on how to protect yourself or a loved one from becoming a victim.
