Nick joined Stirling Andersen in Sydney as Managing Director in 2013. He has over 15 years’ experience recruiting professionals for Insurance,

Actuarial and Risk Management roles in Australia

and the UK. Nick has in depth knowledge in the

Life, Non-Life, Risk, Investment and

Superannuation industries placing candidates at all levels from analyst to CEO.

KASSIE CANNING, ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR -

GENERAL INSURANCE

Kassie has 4 years’ experience, solely withStirling Andersen, recruiting in the General Insurance and Broking industry.Kassie has extensive networks in the Sydney market with insurance professionals having

successfully worked on dozens of assignments for leadership and entry level positions.

PAUL WHEELER, MANAGER - AUCKLANDPaul was brought in to the Stirling Andersen team,

at the start of 2015, to set up the New Zealand

office. Originally from the UK, Paul has now settled

in New Zealand. He has worked within the

recruitment industry for 16 years, 10 of which, he

was a director of his own recruitment company. Paul recruits senior level roles across both General and Life insurance.

STEVE HUTCHINSON, COUNTRY MANAGER –

SINGAPORESteve joined the business to set up the

Singaporean office in February 2014. Singapore

was the first office outside of Australia for the

Andersen Partnership and has continued to grow

steadily. Steve has 15 years of recruitment experience and has been based in Singapore for the last 4 of those years since relocating from

Australia.

MIKE DOHERTY, COUNTRY MANAGER -

HONG KONGMike has over 16 years recruitment experience

covering Actuarial, Catastrophe Modelling, Risk

Management, Finance and wider insurance roles. Geographical regions covered have included UK,

US, Canada and, more recently, the Asia-Pacific region with particular focus on Hong Kong,

Mainland China & Singapore Markets. He has been

responsible for significant business & client development in all of the regions mentioned as well as building, managing, training and

developing recruitment teams in local offices.

TOM BIRCH, ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR – SHANGHAI Tom joined the Andersen Partnership in 2012 to

launch Stirling Andersen operations on the West coast of Australia. After successfully establishing

a team, developing strong relationships and

networks across General Insurance, Life Insurance

and Wealth Management he has now relocated to

Shanghai, China to build a new team.

MATTHEW COLLINS, ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR-

LONDONMatthew has twenty years' experience in

recruiting in the UK market before relocating to

Western Australia to recruit insurance

professionals in 2011. Matthew joined

the Andersen Partnership in 2014 to oversee

Stirling Andersen in Western Australia where he

enjoyed a successful track record recruiting senior roles in the General Insurance market. In mid 2015

he took up the opportunity to lead the Stirling

Andersen team back in London where his remit will be to replicate our model in Australia,

expanding our presence across all aspects of Insurance & Wealth Management.
