Stitcher’s Garden is the second collection in my Vintage Made Modern line. I have a passion for collecting vintage fabrics and embroidery and have always dreamed of a fabric line that would combine the two. Stitcher’s Garden is designed to work with many different project styles, and I have designed a multitude of sewing patterns to work with the fabric, including purses, garments and headbands. Some of my favorite pieces in my vintage collection are the ones that feature hand embroidery. To me, embroidery adds a feeling of care and craftsmanship indicative to the time and effort it takes to hand stitch with a needle and thread. Though the designs of Stitcher’s Garden don’t have to be embroidered to be enjoyed, I think the addition of stitching will add a beautiful element to your projects.
