The purpose of this association is to organize and promote youthlacrosse for children living within the geographic boundaries of St Michael Albertville and surrounding areas.

It is further the purpose of STMA LAX to aid youth who participate inthis sport.

• Improvement and development of lacrosse skills• To teach and promote physical, mental, and moral development• To teach a sense of fair and honest game play• To promote team play at all levels resulting in good sportsmanship

The Mission of STMA LAX

Players, coaches, spectators and parents are to conduct themselves in a manner that “Honors the Game” and demonstrates respect to other players, coaches, officials and spectators. The essential elements in this “Code of Conduct” are:

HONESTY and INTEGRITY.

“It is only through such conduct that our sport can earn

and maintain a positive image and make its full

contribution to youth sports in the United States andaround the world.”

•Winning should never be placed above the value of good sportsmanship, the concept of fair play, or the skills of the game.

•Safety and welfare of the players are of primary importance.

•Criticism, once made, can never be retracted.

•Coaches are to strive to be positive role models.

•Criticizing, badgering, harassing an official is never permitted.

•Eligibility requirements must be followed.

PLEASE exercise the 24-hour rule…

Wait 24 hours after a game to contact a coach with any issues you want to address.

*** Parent and Player Code of Conducts are signed at registration, please be sure you and your player review.

1) Utilize your team manager for organizational questions

2) Seek out the coach first regarding any team issues

3) Contact the Boys or Girls Director regarding any team issues that are unresolved

• June 14 - Parade for Albertville Friendly City Days

• June 21-22 – LAX Summer Knights Tournament

Make sure to join us for the Summer Knights Tournament in June! Our U13 and U15 teams take on teams across Minnesota. Also, continue to check out the website for additional training and clinic opportunities.

• Provide an expectation of what is next on the teams

• You MUST register your player if using The 10 Dome in Long Lake

Team Managers NeededThe teams listed here are the Spring teams. There’ll be more teams for the summer season. So we’ll need more team managers. Each team needs a manager. It’s a great way to help the coach, and to have great communication with the parents. Plus, it will take care of your volunteer hours too!

LAX Summer Knights Tournament

• Each family will need to provide the association with a $100 check per player that will be held until the end of the summer. Your family needs to provide 2 hours of volunteer time, per player.

–Team managers will collect the checks to turn over to Jason–If you provide the required volunteer hours the check will be returned.

–Please report all volunteer hours to your team manager.

Community Organization Volunteer Hours

• 7:00pm Game on April 18th vs Calgary

• Half Time Team Tunnel

• Pre-Game Meet and Greet with Two Players to be named later

• Ticket cost: $25

• Fill out Pre-Sale Ticket Form and return to Robin Luther with

payment
