Alberta Culture Days began in 2008 as Alberta Arts Day, aone-day event to recognize the value of Alberta's arts andcultural communities. Now a vibrant, three-day, provincewide celebration, it has helped inspire Culture Days –a cross-Canada movement raising awareness, accessibility,participation and engagement of all Canadians in the artsand cultural life of their communities.
In 2013 Albertans discovered, experienced and celebratedarts, heritage, cultural diversity, creative industries, non-profit/voluntary organizations and provincial pride withover 1,450 events in 66 communities across the province.
In 2014, Stony Plain is proud to be a Feature CelebrationSite as 92 organizations in 50 communities encourageAlbertans to discover the important contributions ofculture to a prosperous and vibrant society.
ALL EVENTS ARE FREE (excluding the Food Trucks atthe Street Concert on Friday and the Alberta à la CarteDinner on Saturday evening from 5-7pm).
