Enhancing Allergy TreatmentSyAllgen is the main CRPT remedy for seasonal allergy treatment, both to relieve symptoms and reduce the inten-sity of future occurrences.

However, in a small number of cases, some patients may need a little extra support for any hay fever protocol to be its most effective. These patients usually have chronic health issues that can prevent them from making the kind of healing progress you or they might expect.

Two main factors can have a significant impact on allergy treatment:

1. Gut dysbiosis

2. Latent lung or bronchial infection

Both chronic digestive issues and respiratory foci can keep the immune system in an upregulated state that will make patients’ paths back to good health an uphill climb, no matter how good the treatment protocol is.

If any allergy patient has a proven record of one of these conditions, or if he or she is making unusually slow thera-peutic progress despite a well-constructed protocol, consider addressing gut dysbiosis or lung issues before starting the patient on SyAllgen.

Once the patient’s barrier to healing input has been removed, switch him or her to SyAllgen as recommended on page 2 for long-term allergy treatment. Always monitor patients‘ progress closely and perform laboratory testing if necessary to get the best possible results.

A Scientific View of Hay FeverAn allergy is a hypersensitivity to specific, non-pathogenic antigens called allergens. In people with hay fever, the immune system reacts so strongly to pollen and/or molds that they develop agonizing symp-toms, which in rare circumstances could even threaten their lives.

Scientists distinguish between four different types of allergies. Hay fever is a Type I (immediate-type hypersensitivity) allergy. Type I al-lergic reactions occur immediately after a person comes into contact with an allergen to which he or she is allergic, such as pollen, molds or animal dander. People with a Type I allergy react to allergens by producing immunoglobulin E (IgE) immediately upon exposure.

It may take months or even years from the start of the allergic proc-ess until patients actually start to notice their allergy symptoms. Nonetheless, every Type I allergy goes through the same three phases.

1. Sensitization PhaseAn IgE-mediated reaction starts when CD4+-TH2 cells become sensi-tized to an allergen. This process leads to a sequence of cytokine se-cretion, B-cell stimulation and IgE antibody production. Plasma cells produce IgE antibodies, which migrate into surrounding tissue, the bloodstream and bodily fluids. Once there, they bind with basophil granulocytes and mast cells via receptors for the IgE molecule‘s Fc-part. IgE molecules bound to mast cells‘ Fc-receptors remain on the mast cell surface for a long period of time (sensitization). IgE stimu-lates mast cell growth and leads to eosinophil granulocyte attraction and activation.

2. Renewed Allergen ExposureAfter sensitization, mast cells‘ basophil granulocytes carry 10,000–60,000 antibody molecules on their membranes. Upon renewed aller-gen exposure, the free variable regions bind antigens. Communica-tion between IgE molecules causes a complex cascade of intracellular signals leading to mast cell granule depletion (degranulation) with release of mediators such as histamines. Simultaneously, phospholi-pase activation initiates transformation of membrane-bound phos-pholipids into arachidonic acid derivatives and platelet-activating factor. Activated mast cells can also release cytokines such as TNF-α, IL-1, IL-4 or IL-6.

3. Anaphylactic ReactionAn anaphylactic reaction is the result of inflammatory mediator re-lease (esp. histamine) in Type I hypersensitivity. Histamine causes the smooth musculature in the gastrointestinal and respiratory tracts to contract while the vascular muscles slacken. In mild cases, such as hay fever, the reaction remains localized and limited. The most serious form of a Type I allergic reaction is a generalized immediate reaction such as anaphylactic shock, with life-threatening decrease in blood pressure, bronchial constriction and laryngeal edema.

The Science Behind SyAllgen

For more information or to order, contact BioResource at 1-800-203-3775 or [email protected] Syntrion online at www.syntrion.comAll information is provided solely for illustrative purposes and cannot be considered exhaustive. Nothing in this document is intended to replace proper medical education or examination.

As the main CRPT remedy for reducing allergy symptoms and restoring immune balance to people with allergies, SyAllgen can play an important role in helping patients with hay fever lead happier, healthier lives.

As part of Syntrion‘s commitment to advance complementary and naturopathic medicine by going beyond the boundaries of ordinary natural remedies, we‘ve tested SyAllgen in unique cell-line studies to validate its efficacy in fighting allergies.

Using state-of-the-art analytical methods to measure natural biomarkers, researchers at the University of Vienna (Austria) Institute of Cancer Research found that SyAllgen improves health by:

• Activating proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA)1 and elongation factor 2 (EF-2)2 in non-stimulated immune cells3

• Leaving PCNA, EF-2 and interleukin 1 (IL-1)4 in stimulated immune cells unaffected5

• Downregulating the interferon-induced protein tetratricopeptide repeats 3 in stimulated immune cells5, 6

Researchers concluded that SyAllgen:

• Counteracts Type I allergies by preventing the activation of monocytes to help block histamine release

• Decreases the body‘s tendency toward hypersensitivity while preserving normal immune reactivity

The cell-line studies show: SyAllgen remodels the human immune system, relieving allergy symptoms and making people with hay fever less susceptible to seasonal allergy suffering. Moreover, SyAllgen leaves the immune system‘s ability to defy infection fully intact while fighting allergies, thereby improving patients‘ overall health and well-being. As a result, SyAllgen is the natural, scientifically verified way of restoring balance to the allergic patient.

1: PCNA: A lymphocyte-specific, proteinogenic factor active when T-lymphocytes have been stimulated to proliferate.

2: EF-2: A factor that shows cell proliferation.

3: Immune cells from healthy donors not stimulated with the pathogen-associated molecular pattern lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and phytohemaggluti-nin or phorbol 12-myristate-13-acetate (PMA).

4: IL-1: A factor that activates B-lymphocytes leading to specific, antibody-mediated immune system stimulation.

5:Immune cells from healthy donors stimulated with the pathogen-associated molecular pattern lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and phytohemagglutinin or phorbol 12-myristate-13-acetate (PMA).

6: Tetratricopeptide repeats 3: A pro-inflammatory biological marker active when cells initiate antiviral defenses following infection.
