Steel wire shelves are created

by welding every wire-to-wire

intersection. Each weld must be

protected against corrosion or

the shelf will rust and fall apart.

To guard against corrosion, ClosetMaid submerges shelves in a vinyl coating to fully encapsulate both wires and welds. This coating is superior to epoxy coatings for resistance to chipping and discoloration.

How ClosetMaid wire shelving is superior to other brands
