Featured speaker

Steve Kenniston recently joined IBM through the acquisition of Storwize and is responsible for assisting with

creating, communicating, executing, and sustaining strategic initiatives with respect to storage optimization

technologies. He most recently served as the key technology consultant to the CTO of EMC’s Storage Software

Group. Steve is a respected storage thought leader and spokesperson on next generation storage technologies,

including file-systems, data protection, networking, virtualization and cloud strategies. He has worked on hundreds

of customer/partner discussing architectures and written and blogged extensively on storage technology. His ability

to define storage technology vision and effective go-to-market strategy has led to revenue growth and key

acquisitions in his career. His previous roles include VP Corporate Development for Avamar Technologies, Senior

Corporate Strategist for Iron Mountain/Connected Corporation, Storage Technology Analyst for ESG and Director of

Support for VERITAS.
