Large hosts will be migrated off DMX pair1/2/3 as priority to Pair 5. This will provide capacity for application growth within the existing lease disk footprint. Target 20-30% spare disk capacity required in DMX pair1/2/3.
Priority order is based on best compromise to provide datacentre space for PAIR 6 requirements 2008-2009.
DMX-3 / DMX-4 maximum Orange Config is 5 Bays / 960 Drive slots (1x System Bay + (4x Disk Bays (4 x 240 drive bay slots). Expansion to more Bays can be considered – dependant on performance and business risk.
