The hero is Simon Peter, one of the twelve disciples of Jesus Christ.
He was a brave one among the disciples, always the first in every situation, baring responsibility and a fervent student of the Lord.
Chronologically, the first story mentioned about him, is when he met Jesus for the first time.
It is mentioned in the Gospel of John, that he met Jesus in Judea, while he was living in Capernaum. John 1:40-43
He used to work in Galilee as a fisherman, a partner of his brother Andrew, also partner of
James, John and their father Zebedee. Luke 5: 10
It is Luke who determines that Jesus changed his name, from Simon to Peter or Rock. Luke 6: 13&14
