A structural approach to facilitate COMPREHENSION
“Story”- refers to a narrative written discourse, while
“grammar”- is usually described as the study of words, however in reference to STORY
GRAMMAR in reading refers to the elements or
parts of a story or selection.
Definition of STORY GRAMMAR:
It’s a technique which classifies the components of a story and specifies relationships among its parts.
Type of strategy for Cognitive Literacy for elementary school students.
It aims to improve students’ comprehension in reading by giving
them a framework they can use when reading stories.
