About The Schubert ClubFounded in 1882, The Schubert Club is Minnesota’s oldest arts organization. Its International Artists Series has brought Jascha Heifetz, Arthur Rubinstein, Cecilia Bartoli, Alfred Brendel, Renée Fleming and Yo-Yo Ma, among many others, to the Twin Cities to perform in recital for sold-out audiences. Following decades of collaboration, Music in the Park Series (which presents outstanding artists and chamber ensembles in St. Anthony Park) is now part of The Schubert Club. Key elements of The Schubert Club’s education programming are its annual student scholarship competition, low-cost piano and guitar lessons and a variety of family events, community performances and masterclasses. The Schubert Club museum at Landmark Center has displayed a collection of keyboard instruments, the Gilman Ordway manuscript collection and other musical exhibits of interest since the early 1970s.

The Schubert Club is a member of the Arts Partnership, programming a vibrant future for the performing arts in downtown St. Paul together with the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, the Minnesota Opera and the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra.
