STRATEGIC TECHNOLOGY ASSESSMENT A bottom-up approach to determine strategically relevant technologies for our Application Prototyping Team We need to stay up-to-date and experiment with emerging technologies. But... There’s so many of them! (And it goes faaaaast) We think the best people to decide the technology strategy for our team are those who’ll do the tinkering, coding and hacking: the developers themselves. SO, HOW DO WE CHOOSE WHAT TO USE? OUR SITUATION we compared them in pairs based on our comparisons, d-pac created a ranking we entered them into the d-pac platform they compiled a list of potentially relevant technologies (trust me, there were a lot more) now we know what technologies we want to focus on

A bottom-up approach to determine strategically relevant technologies for our Application Prototyping Team

We need to stay up-to-date and experiment with emerging technologies.

But... There’s so many of them! (And it goes faaaaast)

We think the best people to decide the technology strategy for our team are those who’ll do the tinkering, coding and hacking: the developers themselves.

SO, HOW DO WE CHOOSE WHAT TO USE?

OUR SITUATION

we compared them in pairs

based on our comparisons, d-pac created a ranking

we entered them into the d-pac platform

they compiled a list of potentially relevant technologies

(trust me, there were a lot more)

now we know what technologies we want to focus on
