• Look into your future– Review your calendar

– Identify possible stressors - both at work and at home

• Plan to get more sleep• Stop to check ‘how

you’re doing’• Don’t discount PMS

LISTEN TO MUSIC• Especially nature music

REWARD YOURSELF• Give yourself

something to look forward to when the ‘stressful time’ is over– Buy a new book

– Gourmet Ice Cream?

– Leave work early

– Get a massage

– Go to the theatre

• Unless an event is life threatening, it’s stressful only if we choose to let it be stressful

• Your interpretation of an event will determine your reaction to it– This is the most fun I’ve ever had– For now I’m going to make the most of this
