Within his constant motion of snuffle and lag movement he may stop for a notion or a generous face or a scent.
But general detachment keeps him alone and on his feet for the continuous achievement of wander and who he may meet.
It is not his concern who goes the only direction the wind blows. He is the single stray and may not be going that way.
