GENERAL DESCRIPTIONThe Model WS250 Stream Gauging Winch is

a hand operated winch capable of

handling Gauging Weights up to 45kg (99lbs)

using the SAN22SS winch board or 3WBC

bridge crane. If the 4WBC Bridge Crane is

used the maximum weight capacity rises to

70 Kg (154 lb).

The Model WS250 is a very compact unit and

has been designed for ease of operation and

serviceability in the field. The structure of

material has kept the weight to a minimum, so

that it can be handled easily by one person.

Special features include –

1: Weston Brake: Providing safe and smooth

sounding operation.

2: The WS250, when fitted to a SAN22SS

winch board with outrigger assembly, can be

deployed from boats or bridges. A light weight

bridge crane can also be used for bridge

gauging.

3: Sounding Drum: Cast Aluminium 320mm

Circumference, fitted with silver plated slipring,

and depth counter registering in centimetres.
