Dear members, FLOW is planning a stream monitoring program beginning this summer and is looking for interested volunteers. There will be introductory meetings explaining watershed issues and water quality monitoring techniques. After the meetings, we will be asking interested attendees to engage in water quality sampling. The tributaries selected for monitoring include Adena Brook, Glen Echo Ravine, Kempton Run, and Turkey Run. Volunteers will choose between macro invertebrate sampling, chemical sampling, or both. These sampling techniques will be discussed at the introductory meetings. If you are interested in attending one of the workshops and learning more about monitoring urban streams please respond back to this email for further information. Hope to hear back, Friends of the Lower Olentangy Watershed
