Sharon serves on the Board of Directors as the Director of Affiliates for the Mississippi Mortgage Bankers Association. She helped draft the Best Practices Guidelines for CMR and currently serves as the Chairperson for this Committee.

Although her background is pharmaceutical and nursing, she found her niche in marketing, first with the insurance industry and then in the home inspection field. With her expertise, she has guided her current company through a 100% growth in both sales and staff. Miriam is the Director of Business Development for the fastest growing home inspection company in the state.

Usry began a career in real estate in the early 80’s as a

salesperson. She later advanced to broker and broker-owner

of a real estate firm. After serving the Jackson metro area for

over a decade, Usry was selected by the MS Association of

REALTORS® as Education Director of the REALTOR®

Institute. She was named CEO of Central Mississippi

REALTORS® formerly JAR in 2008. Her experience has

given her a passion for educating agents. Usry’s desire is that

agents will “raise the bar” by continuing education to refresh
