WHAT LOOKED PARTICULARLY EFFECTIVE The layout is original and well thought of.

The images used such as an iPhone 6 and ping pong paddles draws attention to readers as they are what their eyes first catch.

The male and female on the cover brings diversity to the magazine because they are demonstrating equality.

The background of the magazine is a college, which allows helps the reader associate the magazine with a college even if there was no title.

The lanyards on their torsos also helps inform the reader of the type of magazine he or she is reading.

WHAT DOESN’T LOOK PARTICULARLY EFFECTIVE The topics that were chosen could have been more directed towards academic information.

The colours could have been chosen differently because the people that were questioned in my questionnaire proffered blue as their favourite colour. Therefore more blue could have been incorporated.

The main thing I would change about the magazine is the main image. I would let the models hold books in their hands in order to relate the magazine to academic studies.
