JUNE 20-24, 2016 SHEPHERD UNIVERSITY�SHEPHERDSTOWN, WEST VIRGINIA
This summer, the Shepherd University Department of Music Preparatory Division will host a string orchestra camp, open to students enrolled in grades 8-12 in the 2015-2016 academic year. Campers will participate in string orchestra rehearsals and a concert, master classes, chamber music, group coaching, music theory lessons, and workshops!
String Orchestra Camp SPEND A WEEK STUDYING WITH SOME OF THE REGION’S TOP ORCHESTRAL PERFORMERS!
Ms. Heather Austin-Stone Violin and Viola Violin and Viola professor, Shepherd University Assistant Concertmaster, Maryland Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster, Two Rivers Chamber Orchestra Section 1st violinist, Roanoke Symphony Orchestra
Mr. Camilo Perez-Mejia Cello and Bass Cello professor, Shepherd University Cellist, Two Rivers Chamber Orchestra Cellist, National String Symphonia Conductor, Charles Washington Symphony
Ms. Teresa Gordon Violin and Viola Concertmaster, Loudoun Symphony Orchestra Section 2nd violinist, Maryland Symphony Orchestra Section 2nd violinist, Two Rivers Chamber Orchestra
CAMP FACULTY Dr. Scott Hippensteel String Orchestra Conductor Director of Instrumental Studies, Shepherd University Conductor and Music Director of the Shepherd Preparatory Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, RAM Band, and Pep Band.

Space is limited and all students will be accepted on a first-come, first serve basis.
Registration form and fee must be returned to Kari Edge by June 13, 2016.
