WHAT IS STROKES?

Strokes is a day-long competition wherein students from the various Chinese-Filipino schools will engage themselves in a friendly competition to showcase their skills and talents in Chinese calligraphy and art. The art competition will be an event open to elementary and high school students, wherein they are expected to produce works of art that exemplify the unique bond between both Filipinos and Chinoys. The calligraphy contest is open to high school students, wherein they are to highlight the beauty of the Chinese-Filipino tradition of calligraphy. It will be organized with the goal of uplifting the Chinese-Filipino culture through a display of skills, and secondly as an introduction to the Loyola Schools campus and Ateneo student life.

A. Contest plan the program flow for the arts and calligraphy contest prepare a script and find a host for the competition prepare prizes/tokens and certifi-cates for the contestants and judges look for judges for the competitionB. Amazing Race plan the program flow for the amazing race plan activities in each booth of the race supervise the activity in the event day

organize fundraisers keep track of finances and other possible needs keep the receipts of the things spent for the project and reimburse them

find sponsors for the project invite participants from different Chinese schools and perform liason duties with the schools, participants and concerned teachers
