Structural RequirementsColumn: Minimum width should be not less than 200mm. Minimum 4 reinforcement bars of size not less than 12mm. Reinforcements should not be used as a part of lightening protection system.

Beam: Minimum width should be not less than 200mm. Minimum 4 bars of 12mm should be adopted (top and bottom).

Slabs: Slabs should have a minimum thickness of 135mm. Drain pipes should not be buried inside slab. Temperature/Distribution bars should be of High yield strength deformed bars. Size of reinforcements used shall be not less than 10mm and should be of high yield strength deformed bars. Spacing of reinforcements should not be less than 200mm.

Cover: Slabs: minimum 25 mm Beams: minimum 25 mm Columns: minimum 25mm Sub Structure/Foundation: minimum 50mm
