This is kidney. Main function is to purify blood and expel urine. There are two kidneys in human body. Its position is against the posterior muscles of the abdominal cavity. It is bean shaped.

Cortex
It is cortex. The outer part where lacks of micro filters are seen
Medulla
It is the inner part where long tube of the filters are seen
PYRAMID
In this part to which the collecting ducts of micro filters open.
RENEL ARTERY
It is a vessel which carry blood to the kidney
RENEL VEIN
This is the vessel which carry blood from the kidneys.
PELVIS
The part to which urine flows from the filters.
URETER
The vessel which carry urine from the kidney to the urinary bladder.
