Type of social mobility amongagricultural communities

1. Horizontal: geografical movement within theenvironment, city (lateral mobility) up & down in socialstratification (Giddens, 1989)

2. Vertical : movement which is carrying improvement(responsibility and financial)

1. Intrageneration: mobilitas sosial yang dialamiseseorang dalam hidupnya, terdapat perbedaan statusorang tua dengan anaknya.

Contoh: si A tahun 2002 sbg asisten manager, 2008-

sekarang terpilih menjadi manager pemasaran tehwilayah Jabar

contoh: ayahnya P.Ramli (artis legenda Malaysia,anaknya tukang sapu jalan raya

- ayahnya tuan tanah, anaknya supir manager sayurperusahaan x di Lembang
