Residence LifeThe Stuart Hall Residence Life program is the fullest embodiment of our commitment to educate the whole person, Mind, Body, Heart, and Spirit.
It is to this end that we strive – to foster a passion in the students of our board-ing community to continue to learn and engage the world after school hours and beyond our school doors.
The faithful partnership between our boarding staff (the Residence Life Coor-dinator, Dorm Parents, and On Campus Faculty) and our boarding student lead-ers (Prefects, and Dorm Council) – func-tions as the foundation of our boarding community.
Why Consider Stuart HallLocated in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, Stuart Hall School is a college preparatory school that offers a day program for boys and girls in grades PK-12 and a boarding program for girls in grades 8-12. The school has two campuses, with the Middle and Upper Schools located in historic Staunton and the Lower School in nearby Verona. Founded in 1844, Stuart Hall School is one of the oldest independent schools in Virginia.
Stuart Hall School’s small classes, family-like community, and individualized instruction provide the perfect environment for each student to reach her full potential. Faculty members know each student’s strengths and weaknesses and challenge students daily to explore their interests, think outside the box, and achieve their personal best. Multiple after-school offerings, sports, and weekend activities provide students with many opportunities to interact with each other and with the School’s day stu-dents, and to experience the area’s rich local culture. This environment develops students who are inquisitive, confident, multi-dimensional, and ready for the many possibilities life offers them following graduation. Why Consider Stuart Hall?
