TV Productions This course is back again after a year off at Southwest. I have been teaching here at Southwest for the past few years as a History teacher and have made the switch this year to TV Productions.

We have ordered a new TriCaster (what we need to film, edit, and distribute morning announcements) and we are anxiously waiting for its arrival. Please understand that we will not have Bronco News until it has arrived, I have had training with the equipment, and the students in my 2nd and 5th mod TV Productions class have had training as well.

We will get into the details later, however you need to know that you are surrounded with very expensive equipment, and you WILL be held accountable for any damages. SO DO NOT TOUCH the equipment until you are trained properly and asked to.

Expectations: Mods 1, 3,6 and 7 are titled Exploring TV Productions (kind of like

TV Productions 1). It is only a semester long. If you are in 7th grade and you want to take the year long TV Productions course next year you need to show your dedication starting NOW!

Mods 2 and 5 are titled TV Productions (the year long course- kind of like a TV Productions 2). If you are a 7th grader and you are in this class you are being trained to lead TV Productions next year as an 8th grader so I expect a lot from you! If you are an 8th grader I expect you to lead this year and help guide the 7th graders into being good role models- again my expectations are HIGH!
