Do you long to experience other countries and cultures? CLC can be your passport there.

Study overseas. Walk the medieval alleyways of Bruge in Belgium or eat in a Paris café where Hemmingway wrote in the 1920s. Through CLC’s international education program, you can enjoy such experiences while earning college credit. Choose from a short-term field study course or a semester abroad.

Can’t afford it? Each year CLC’s Center for International Education provides $25,000 in scholarships to qualifying students for overseas study.

Mentor an international student. You can learn about other cultures right here in Lake County. Each semester, the college welcomes 120-140 international students from more than 40 countries. You can help these students make the cultural, academic and social transition to CLC and the U.S. by becoming an international student peer mentor. Applications are accepted each Fall and Spring semester.
